I came here for Tony's & Nina's wedding celebration. Service was great & food was delicious. I had a blast in this private event.

We’ve only been in the Norfolk area for 2 weeks and have already eaten here 3 times. We have had dim sum, lunch (roast meats with rice) and dinner and every meal was excellent. The service is quick, friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Food is authentic and absolutely delicious! We have tried 2 other authentic Chinese places in the area but Guangdong Taste is hands down our favorite.

Update: I recently dined here in person and I had a great experience. The service here is truly phenomenal and I really commend the waitresses that served us. They were extremely polite, very attentive, and had such great customer service. The food here is also amazing and you get great portion sizes for a reasonable price! I ordered the sesame chicken with white rice and vegetables, The honey walnut shrimp, spinach, and the sweet buns that they have that's filled with this custard. Everything was really good! Seasoned perfectly! I highly recommend trying this place out if you want some really good authentic cuisine! 2 Years Ago:This was my first time trying out this place and I absolutely loved it! I ordered the shrimp fried rice for takeout and was very pleased with my order. I waited a little over 30 minutes, but it was quite busy in there so I understood. I didn't expect the portion sizes to be as big as it was, so that was even more amazing!!! I was very pleased for the price that I paid. I absolutely loved the food I ordered. It's very rare that you find other restaurants that cook their shrimp fried rice like this. I highly recommend this place and can't wait until I come back to try other items! Also very reasonably priced!

This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant. Unlike the majority of the Chinese places in Hampton Roads, which are Szechuan, this place is Cantonese, so they offer a lot of different options. Everything tastes great and is the closest you'll get to food sold in China. I am convinced that this is probably the best Chinese restaurant in Hampton Roads....... As an update, I tried a few of the Dim Sum offerings, and they were all good...
